Glass Robot is a video game development team from Long Island. I joined the team as their graphic designer just a few years after they began as “Locked-In View Games”. I played a large part in their re-branding into Glass Robot, including creating their logo and mascot, Kairo. To this day I continue to work alongside them with a shared dream of creating video games.
With a close-knit team, every design goes through a group review prior to it’s release to ensure that they are cohesive with the messages that Glass Robot wishes to convey.
The goal I had set for my senior thesis was to bring awareness to the benefits of virtual reality, not just as a fun gaming pastime, but as a way to generate empathy and increase awareness about certain issues.
The infographic was utilized to display the influence of virtual reality at the time, while the editorial and posters were meant to bring attention to how virtual reality can help people gain a better understanding of the world around them.

Adelphi was undergoing a re-branding process during this time. As a result, when it came time for our Graphic Design department to design the yearbook cover, we were limited as to what components we could use in our designs.
College sets the foundation to help students plan for their futures, so in the end I decided on a blueprint-inspired overhead view of our campus.
